Independent security consultancy

Find the weak spots in your software before attackers do.

Archotech Labs is an independent security consultancy. We test your web app, APIs, and login flows the way an attacker would, then help your team fix what actually matters.

  • You work directly with the person doing the testing
  • Findings ranked by real risk to your business
  • Fix guidance and a retest, not just a report

Sound familiar?

Security questions are showing up before you're ready for them.

Who we work with

Built for teams without a security department.

Growing software companies

Teams building and selling software without a dedicated security team, who need an experienced professional to test their work and tell them what matters.

Freelance developers and agencies

Builders whose clients are starting to ask "is this secure?" We test what you've delivered so you can answer with confidence.

Teams facing security questionnaires

When a customer or prospect wants proof of your security, we help you give real answers, backed by testing.

Services

Practical security work for software that ships.

Every engagement is hands-on and scoped to what you're building. No generic checklists, no scanner dumps.

Application security assessments and penetration testing

We test web apps, SaaS platforms, APIs, and login flows by hand, looking for problems an attacker could actually use: one customer seeing another's data, logins that can be bypassed, and features that can be abused. You get proof of what's real, not a list of maybes.

Secure architecture and threat modeling

We review how your product is built, including hosted backends like Supabase, to find design-level risks early, while they're still cheap to fix. A good fit for new products, major features, and teams moving to a new stack.

Security review for fast-moving and AI-assisted builds

Small teams and solo builders ship quickly, and AI-assisted code ships even faster. We review what you've built and help you reach a security posture you can stand behind when customers start asking.

Vulnerability management and remediation guidance

Prioritized, actionable findings ranked by real risk, each with clear steps to fix it. We help your team decide what to fix first and what can wait, so effort goes where it counts.

Compliance-aware security

Experience with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the secure development practices it calls for, so security work also moves you toward the requirements your customers and regulators care about.

How we work

A clear process, from first call to retest.

  1. Scoping

A short call to understand your product, what matters most, and what's in bounds. What we'll test, and how, is agreed in writing before any testing starts.

  2. Testing

Hands-on testing of the agreed scope, approached the way a real attacker would. If we find something critical, we tell you right away instead of waiting for the report.

  3. Report

A clear written report: what we found, how we found it, why it matters to your business, and how to fix it. Written for engineers and decision-makers alike.

  4. Remediation support

We stay available while your team works through fixes, to answer questions and help with the tricky ones.

  5. Retest

Once fixes are in, we retest to confirm each issue is closed, so you have an up-to-date picture you can share with customers.

About

Small by design, led by an experienced professional.

Archotech Labs was founded in 2026 by a product security engineer based in Massachusetts.

Our founder works in product security at an established hardware and test company, across offensive security, vulnerability management, and EU Cyber Resilience Act compliance, after starting out as a software engineer in the defense industry.

We keep up with how attackers actually work, and build our own tools when off-the-shelf ones fall short.

When you work with Archotech Labs, you work directly with the person doing the testing. No account managers and no handoffs, from the scoping call to the retest.

Certifications

  • CompTIA Security+
  • eJPT (penetration testing)

How we operate

  • An attacker's mindset, a defender's goals
  • Findings you can act on, ranked by real risk
  • Plain language for engineers and executives
  • Honest about what matters and what doesn't
